How to Use Reports: Tips & Tricks

Indio’s reporting system helps track reservations, financials, occupancy, and operations. Using date ranges, filters, sorting, and exporting streamlines workflow and improves management. This guide ensures you get the most from Indio’s reports.

  1. Navigating to the Reports
    1. Login
      Use your credentials to access the dashboard.




    2. Navigate to Reports
      From the main menu, click on Reports





    3. Choose from report categories



      1. Front Desk
        These reports will give insight to the daily operations of the RV Parks. You can pull reports for:
        1. Arrivals and Departures
        2. Site Availability
        3. Site Inventory
        4. Reservations
        5. Maintenance List
      2. Occupancy and Revenue
        These reports track site usage and financial performance. You can pull reports for:
        1. Occupancy by Site
        2. Revenue by Site
      3. Financial
        These reports will address the remaining operational details. 
        1. Daily Cash
        2. End of Day
        3. Accounts Receivable
  2. Setting Date Ranges
    1. How to set a date range
      1. Click the Calendar selector within the report
      2. Choose a Start Date and End Date to customize the time frame



      3. Use Preset Options like Current Month, Last Month, or Last 3 Months for quick selections



    2. Best uses
        1. Select a single day or week to track revenue and transactions to report daily case of end-of-day reports. 
        2. Use monthly or quarterly views to identify booking trends and site utilization in terms of occupancy. 
  3. Filtering by Property, Site, and Other Criteria

      1. Select the Property Filter to view data from a specific location (for multi-property managers).
      2. Select the Property Filter to view data from a specific location (for multi-property managers).
      3. Use Advanced Filters for revenue trends, maintenance tasks, or guest history.

      2. Accounts Receivable: View outstanding balances for a specific guest or date range.

      1. Click any Sort By drop down and select desired option. Options will be different per report type. 



      2. Re-sort columns as needed to compare data points.

      1. Occupancy Rate Reports: Sort by highest-to-lowest occupancy to assess site demand.
      2. Accounts Receivable: Prioritize overdue balances by sorting by amount due.
      3. Check-Ins & Check-Outs: Sort by arrival date to organize daily front desk operations.
