How To Make Changes to an Existing Reservation: Changing the RV or Towing Vehicle Details

There may be instances when you need to update the RV or towing vehicle information for a reservation. This could be due to a guest bringing a different vehicle than initially planned, or perhaps you need to correct some details. Here's how to do it:

1. Quick Way: From the Reservation Drawer
   1. Find the reservation and open it to view. The Reservation sidebar/drawer will automatically display information under the "Details" tab. In the "Guest" section, look for a link labeled "Edit Vehicle Info."
      
   2. Click the "Edit Vehicle Info" link. A side panel/drawer will slide open with the RV info.
   3. Click on the boxes that need updating—RV Type, RV Size, RV Length, RV Slide, Towing Vehicle, and/or  Electrical Service. Most boxes have a dropdown list to choose from. More than one option can be selected from the “RV Slide” field. For the “RV Length,” you’ll need to type in the length in feet.
      
   4. Click “Save." This closes the drawer and takes you back to the "Reservation" details. 
      
      
   5. To leave the Reservation drawer, just click anywhere outside it.
2. Alternative Way: Using the "Edit" Button
   1. After finding the reservation and opening it to view, locate the "Edit" button at the top right of the Reservation drawer.
      
   2. Click the "Edit" button. A window titled "Edit Reservation" will pop up.
   3. In this window, find the link, "Edit Vehicle Details," above the "Reservation Guest" field. A window with the guest’s vehicle details will pop up.
      
   4. Click on the boxes that need updating—RV Type, RV Size, RV Length, Towing Vehicle, RV Slide, and/or Electrical Service. Most boxes have a dropdown list to choose from. More than one option can be selected from the "RV Slide" field. For the "RV Length," you’ll need to type in the length in feet.
      
   5. Click the "Save" button in the lower right-hand corner of the "Edit Reservation" window. 
   6. A window will pop up asking, "Please Confirm. Do you want to re-rate before saving?" Click "Yes" so the system can figure out the new cost with the changes. Click "No" to keep the rates the reservation charges the same.
      
   7. The "Edit Reservation" window will close, and the Reservation information will slide out like a drawer from the right side of the screen. This update will be noted in the "Reservation Activity/Activity Feed" section, which you can find under the "Details" tab.
      
   8. To leave or close the Reservation drawer, just click anywhere outside it.
